space.magnificent.com uses new technology to adapt the way it displays pages to the browser you're using and (if your browser volunteers the information) the size of your computer's display. It selects different navigational controls depending on whether or not your browser supports Java. Newer browsers (e.g., Netscape Navigator 3+ and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3+) volunteer a lot of information, and the system can make intelligent choices. When less information is available the system makes educated guesses. If you don't like the choices the system has made you can overrule them using the form below.

Java navigational applet
Static navigational graphic Caution: The system's decision about whether or not to use the Java applet is very reliable, based not only on whether or not your browser type can use Java, but also on known bugs in some browsers that are supposed to be Java-compatible. If you turn on the Java applet when the system has decided it's inappropriate, it probably really won't work. Heed the words of Obi Wan WebServant: "Trust the system, Luke".

Text size
You can control the size of text on many pages. The size you choose is interpreted relative to your browser's default text size. Note that not all pages are self-adjusting.
Text reduced in size one step
Text reduced in size one step
Text at your browser's default size
Text increased in size by one step
Caution: Internet Explorer has a subtle bug in which it sometimes fails to check the button we tell it to, but checks the last one instead. Make sure that the text size is set appropriately.
