Northern Hemisphere Satellite Image (Water Vapor)

This is the most recent image of the Northern Hemisphere; it is a composite of the images taken by the GOES=8 and GOES-9 satellites operated by the US National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This image was taken through an infrared filter tuned to highlight water vapor in the Earth's atmosphere. These GIF images are about 150-200K in size.
