Global Composite Weather Data


This computer-generated image synthesizes satellite cloud cover data and sea surface temperature data to provide a picture of weather conditions on Earth. The key at the bottom of the picture explains how the colors correspond to ice, sea temperatures, land temperatures, and cloud cover. This composite image was created by the Space Science and Engineering Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This GIF image is about 70-100K in size.
